5-12 – Il derby di New York va ai Knicks. I Bulls costringono alla seconda sconfitta consecutiva gli Heat. Chris Paul e i suoi battono i Grizzlies

Tre le partite giocate nella notte, tutte di grande interesse. Al Barclays Center hanno avuto la meglio i Knicks, vincitori di un derby che ad inizio stagione si pensava potesse decidere gli equilibri al vertice a Est. 16 punti per Bargnani, tirando con un buon 7-13 dal campo. A Chicago i Bulls battono di nuovo gli Heat (successe anche l’anno scorso, interrompendo la striscia di 27 vittorie consecutive di Miami), con Boozer e Deng assoluti protagonisti e dominando il match sin dalle prime battute. Infine i Clippers battono a domicilio i Grizzlies ancora orfani di Marc Gasol, mandando ben 6 giocatori in doppia cifra.
